About
Background
I am an Indian-born Spanish results-oriented CTO who is passionate about applying new, disruptive technologies to solve complex real world problems.
I have recently founded an agri-tech start-up (Messium) through the Entrepreneur First (London) accelerator. Here I write some blog posts regarding my experiences throughout the process.
Can often be found hiking in the Pennines, playing tennis or indoor rock climbing around London!
Startup Experience
I've previously worked as a Tech Lead at 9fin (Spark Capital backed fintech scale-up) where I was building ESG, Loan and Bond data management systems.
Whilst at Sproutl (failed Index Ventures backed e-commerce startup), I led development of logistics and inventory management systems as an early engineer.
My first startup experience involved co-founding a company that built a UN, ESA and Microsoft award-winning forest fire prediction system.
Traditional Industry and University Experience
My main traditional industry role involved working on airline Departure Control Systems at Amadeus IT, the largest player in the airline software industry.
Whilst at university, I became the University of York Computer Science Course Representative as well as the President of the York Blockchain Society.
As part of this I've organised major Blockchain conferences, attaining speakers such as John McAfee for the events.
Also engaged in Solidity Blockchain development for the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and VeridenKey, coming 2nd at a global ECB competition in the process.
